Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 October 2020.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

If you could please let me know what Traffic Regulation Order controls the section of the bus lane running alongside New College Parade - Finchley Road - Southbound, and what days are the restrictions on and if possible supply a current on the ground photograph or a recent library picture of the sign controlling this particular section of the bus lane.

This bus lane has recently been chosen as part of a TfL trial for 24 hour bus lanes. As of 13 September 2020 the restrictions have been extended to 24 hours. The Traffic Regulation Order is attached. We do not currently have a photo of the new signage.

Prior to 13 September the operational hours were “Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles Mon - Sat 7am - 10am and 4pm - 7pm”. We don’t have a stored photo of this signage.

Also how many PCN were issued to motorists using the bus lane outside the times the restrictions are in place from September 2019 to September 2020.

There were seven penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued from September 2019 – September 2020 and none of these were issued outside of the hours of restriction.
