Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1^st October 2020 asking for information about noise complaints received in relation to the area between Sloane Square and South Kensington stations.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy.

Colleagues in our Engineering team inform me that there has been evidence of movement at a particular section of track that is thought to be the source of the noise. The track team has been on site and carried out rectification works but the movement is still occurring. It is thought there may be an issue with a collapsed drain, and this is currently being investigated further. A survey is planned for Draycott Place which will hopefully confirm whether this is indeed the issue.
