Two new tube stations are opening as part of the Northern Line extension this year. On the entrances to the new stations are the names 'Nine Elms Station' and 'Battersea Power Station'. Please confirm whether the second station (the terminus) has been named 'Battersea Power' or whether the 'station' suffix has been deliberately omitted from the entrance and that the full name is 'Battersea Power Station Station'.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7th September 2021 asking for information about the Northern Line extension.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
