Request ID: FOI-1181-2324
Date published: 07 August 2023

You asked

Dear Transport for London, New signs have been erected indicating that the A4 Bath Road, between the junction of Hatch Lane and Newport Road, has had a speed limit reduction from 50mph to 40mph. I am trying to understand the rationale behind this. Can you please state, over the past 5 years, how many serious or fatal road traffic collisions have occurred on this stretch of the A4.
