Thank you for your request received on 27 July 2018 asking for information about the redesign of the Old Street roundabout.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

Please can I have a breakdown of the current budget for the Old Street roundabout redesign and how much will be spent on what? Please can I also have a copy of any other draft budgets for the Old Street roundabout redesign?

The scheme estimated cost breakdown are as follows:

Design, consultation, surveys and consents - £2.0m
Detailed Design, Construction and benefits realisation - £29.7m
Total - £31.7m

The latest cost estimate reflects current market figures and differs from the feasibility estimate of £25.5m as further detail regarding the underground engineering complexities at the site have been identified.

Please can I also have a copy of any feasibility studies about the Old Street roundabout redesign?
