This is a follow-up to my previous FOI request to release BVS v2.5.

You stated in the previous FOI request: "This is a live document which is regularly updated and at the time that a route is being tendered for, the supplier would need to refer to the relevant live document in operation at the time."
Would you be able to publish the document and attachments to BVS v2.6 (and potentially the latest versions), please?
When do you plan to release the latest version of the BVS?
Has TFL planned to share the BVS with transport authorities and publicly owned bus companies throughout the UK, especially bus franchised areas such as the Bee Network?
The Mayor of London is proposing to create a publicly owned London Bus operating company as part of his manifesto commitment. Does TFL plan to establish their own bus manufacturing company as part of rolling out new zero-emission buses?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 10 July 2024 asking for New London Bus Vehicle Specifications version 2.6.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require.
Version 2.6 of the specifications hasn’t been published yet. We anticipate the earliest this may be published is the end of this year. Version 2.5 was only published in April 2024.
We also do not have any further information regarding any future plans at this time.
