Good Morning
I am instructed on behalf of British Telecommunications plc in connection with a personal injury claim that occurred on New Cross Road London SE14 on the 30/6/2022
To assist me with my investigations, and in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I require copies of the highway inspection records together with all opening/closing notices, defect notices and records of complaints for 12 months prior to the 30/06/2022
I shall be grateful if you could forward the records to me within the next 14 days

I refer to your email dated the 17th July
The claim received is in relation to a tripping accident that occurred on New Cross Road London on the 30/6/22
Photographs of the location and BT cover are attached
What we require is any complaints received regarding this cover in the 12 months pre accident together with the inspection records for the same period
Further clarification received 09/08/2023: The accident location was New Cross Road, London, SE14 5BD

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12th July 2023 asking for information about New Cross Road, as subsequently clarified on various occasions.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“What we require is any complaints received regarding this cover in the 12 months pre accident together with the inspection records for the same period”.
And;
“The accident location was New Cross Road, London, SE14 5BD”.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The inspections and defects records for the specified location are provided in the attached spreadsheets. Note that you may have to expand the width of some columns to read the data in full.
In terms of complaints, our Customer Services team have searched their records for the period 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 using the following keywords:
