How many penalty notices are sent out to the registered keepers of electric vehicles in a given year?
We do not hold data on specific vehicle type so cannot provide this information.
How many congestion charge payments are made in a given year by drivers who have paid for vehicles which could technically be automatically exempted?
We do not have this information as we don’t hold data on Vehicle Type when a Congestion Charge payment is made. However, at the time of the customer trying to pay the congestion charge a check is made to see whether a charge is payable for their VRM and if no charge is payable then this is relayed back to the customer.
The remainder of your query will be dealt with by Capita who will respond to you directly.
