In order to bring the following question within the £450 limit: "Could you please inform me of any upcoming planned diversions, changes of bus types, operators, timetable, or any structural changes etc. relating to routes 240, 292, 186, 605, 113, 221 and 251 for as far into the future as possible.", please simply answer it in the same way as was done in TfL Ref: 2276-1617, which was within the limit and also asked for similar information for the same amount of bus routes.
If you are still unable to justify the cost of this FOI, please answer my question for as many bus routes as you can in the following order of priority from highest to lowest: 240, 292, 186, 113, 221, 251 and 605 in as many categories as you can in the following order of priority from highest to lowest: diversions, structural changes, changes to bus types, changes to operators, and timetable alterations.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 July 2018 asking for any upcoming planned diversions, changes of bus types, operators, timetable, or any structural changes to bus routes. I am sorry for the delay in replying.

240
Planned Diversion
No planned diversions ahead – works taking place are due to have temporary traffic signals in place, but no changes to the route.
Structural/ frequency
Frequencies were reduced from 5 -4 buses per hour (BPH) on 7 July
Changes of bus types
New contract yet to be awarded next year – since it hasn’t been awarded; the new bus type hasn’t been specified. Currently it operated with Euro 3, and this will definitely be changes next year in line with the new operator.
Change of operators
The contract has not been awarded yet.

Planned Diversion
No planned diversions ahead – the last one was around Allum Lane for overnight works between 10th and 11th August.
Structural/ frequency

Changes of bus types
Route will operate with 2011 built Euro 5 diesel double decks (currently Euro 3) from December.
Change of operators
8th December – the route will be run by Metroline (currently London Sovereign).

Planned Diversion
(NO18 2628) Between 09/10 September, there will be southbound directional road closure at Watford Way/Queens Road (overnight 22:00 – 05:00).
Routes 143, 186, 324 and 326 towards Brent Cross Shopping Centre:
From A41 Watford Way at the junction of Queens Road, left Queens Road, right Brent Street, right A406 North Circular Road, ahead A406 bearing left up to the Mid-Level section, circumnavigate the roundabout back onto the eastbound A406 slip, left Cooper Road, line of route.
(NO18 2646) On 16th September, between 04:30 and 12:30, the Harrow Half Marathon will be taking place. Extensive road closures will be in place
At 0900 hours the Harrow Half Marathon will start and finish at Harrow School Playing Fields off High Street Harrow on the Hill. It takes a route via, High Street, Peterborough Road, Station Road, St Anns Road, Kymberley Road, Junction Road, Roxborough Road, Cunningham Park, Pinner View, Headstone Manor Recreation Ground, Headstone Lane, George V Avenue, St Thomas Drive, George V Avenue, Pinner Road Marsh Road, High Street Pinner, Marsh Road, Pinner Road, Headstone Lane, Headstone Manor Recreation Ground, Parkside Way, Pinner View, Cunningham Park, Harrow Recreation Ground, Roxborough Road, Junction Road, Kymberley Road, St. Ann.s Road, Station Road , Peterborough Road back to High Street o finish.
All roads will be closed for the duration of this race in one or both directions, and will reopen once the last runners have cleared a particular section and it is safe to do so.
The 186 will be diverted from 0430 hours
NORTHBOUND – towards Brent Cross From Northwick Park Roundabout ahead Sheepcote Road and ahead Station Road to line of route.
SOUTHBOUND – towards Northwick Park Hospital From Station Road ahead Sheepcote Road and ahead Watford Road to line of route.
Structural/ frequency
Frequencies were increased in the early morning periods from 3 to 4 BPH on 22 July
Changes of bus types
The route isn’t due to change vehicle – currently it operates with Euro 4 diesel double decks – these may be replaced at a later date to meet emission standards we are setting for our network.
Change of operators
Metroline retained the contract in July – the contract will be up to renewal in 2022 now.

Planned Diversion
No diversions ahead – gas connections works on Daws Lane/Wise lane will require temporary traffic lights from 17th September until 21st September.
Structural/ frequency
No changes due.
Changes of bus types
Currently the route operates with 2009 built Euro 5 diesel double decks – no changes are due until 2022 when the contract renews. As mentioned above, the buses may be replaced/ upgraded to help reduce emissions before then.

The contract was awarded to Sullivan buses in September 2017 (previous to them it was London Sovereign)

(NO18 2628) The same works for the 186 on 09/10 September will affect the 113:
Routes 143, 186, 324 and 326 towards Brent Cross Shopping Centre:

Routes 113 and N113 towards Oxford Circus of Trafalgar Square:
From A41 Watford Way at the junction of Queens Road, left Queens Road, right Brent Street, right A406 North Circular Road, ahead A406 bearing left up to the Mid-Level section, left at the roundabout onto A41 Hendon Way, line of route.
Baker Street 2 way works are affecting the route long term – the work is being completed in phases, with various lane restrictions in place. From 3rd September until 3rd February, Oxford Street will be reduced to one lane in both directions between Marble Arch and Orchard Street.
In addition to this, between 06th October and 14th October, there will be a closure
Oxford Street will be closed in both directions between Portman Street and Orchard Street and buses will divert as follows:
Route 113 towards Edgware Station
From John Princes Street at the junction of Oxford Street: left Oxford Street, left Regent Street, left Margaret Street, ahead Henrietta Place, right Wimpole Street, left Wigmore Street, ahead Portman Square (south side), right Gloucester Place to line of route.
Routes 139, N113 towards Golders Green Station, Edgware Station
From Regent Street at the junction of Oxford Street: ahead Regent Street, left Margaret Street, ahead Henrietta Place, right Wimpole Street, left Wigmore Street, ahead Portman Square (south side), right Gloucester Place to line of route.
Structural/ frequency
We intend to withdraw routes 113 and 159 between Oxford Circus and Marble Arch at all times. This will happen in November this year.
Changes of bus types
The route currently operates 2013 built Euro 5 hybrid double decks, will be upgraded to Euro 6 standard to meet emission requirements.

The contract was retained by Metroline in April

Planned Diversion
(NO18 2576 A) Not a diversion, but two stops will be suspended on Friday 24th August at High Road/Coleraine Road for telecommunications work between 09:30 and 23:59
Bus Stop with point letter MA will be suspended between 2000 and 2359
Bus stop with point letter O will be suspended between 0930 and 2359
Structural/ frequency
No changes proposed – anything new would go through consultation first

The route currently operates 2010 built Euro 5 diesel double decks – newer buses would be introduced after the next tender.

In 2016, Arriva retained the contract – which isn’t due to end until 2021.

The route uses 2009-built Euro 4 diesel single decks and 2011-built Euro 5 diesel single decks. These won’t be changed until the next tender (2021).
Change of operators
London Sovereign retained the contract in 2016, and it’s not due to renew until 2021.
