Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 July 2019 asking for information about the Great West Road.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

hi, I would a copy of the red route maintenance report between Royal embassy of Saudi arabia and leading down to the Tesla dealership on  Great West Road London. More specifically on Cedars Road on the a4.

Please find attached our inspection and defects records from July 2018 – June 2019 in addition to an excerpt from our London Highways Allied Contract services document which outlines our contractual obligations for road inspections.

  1. when was the last road check up/maintanace

At time of compilation for response - 15 July 2019

  1. when pothole are spotted how often or when would the repair take place

Once a pot hole has been identified TfL will carry out a “make safe” operation and/or a permanent fix within 24 hours if the ‘pothole’ is deemed to be dangerous followed up by a permanent fix within 28 days if not already carried out at time of “make safe” procedure.

  1. if a pothole is not spotted during maintenance and a damaged or accidents occurs Is there a time frame in weeks or month when TFL will not be reposible for. I,e within 4weeks of such claimed maintenance a huge pothole occurs does TFL refuse claim due to this?

We are not sure what you mean by this question. However, the key dates are three years after an incident for an injury claim or six years for damage claims but this depends on a number of other factors.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
