Please let me know, both for the start of Mayor Khan’s original term, and for the most recent date, how many cars are licensed to move around London using blue flashing lights and ignoring both speed limits and other driving restrictions. Please advise when you can provide this information. Many thanks. [Clarified 11 July 2024]: Thank you for your response. My question relates to the number of unmarked cars which speed around London with blue lights flashing and expecting other road users to move aside. As they are unmarked I have no idea if they are Police, Fire Services, or anything else. I assume however that TfL has a central register of cars which are allowed to behave in this way. If I am wrong in this please could you advise to which body I should address this question? Many thanks
