Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 July 2024 asking for information about DBS records.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold the information you require.

Since 26 February 2024, 2,181 taxi driver licences (both new and renewed) and 11,801 private hire driver licences (both new and renewed) have been issued.
