Thank you for your email of 11th July 2019 asking for information about road casualities and deaths in London in 2018

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your questions are answered in turn below:

Question 1. How many casualties?

Answer: 30591

Question 2. How many of them died in 2018?

Answer: 111

Question 3. How many were child casualties?

Answer: 1961

Question 4. How many children died in 2018?

Answer: 0

Note that the number of people killed on London’s roads fell to the lowest level recorded in 2018. More data and information on this subject has been published today, available on our website here:
