Could you tell me how many train operators based in Morden, East Finchley and Golders Green depot were temporarily assigned alternative duties between April 2021- April 2022, how many hours were they working and how long did they stay in those alternative duties.
Please see the table below for the number of Train Operators in the requested areas that were assigned temporary alternative duties (TADs) during the period in question. The data covers both standard and night time Train Operators. Instructor Operators aren’t included in the data.

TAD is an attendance type recorded in our system. Unfortunately, it is difficult to calculate the actual period spent on TADs as they are often interspersed with other absence types such as annual leave, sickness or attendance types such as training. Additionally, they are often input to reflect the work schedule rules of each employee so will exclude weekends / days not normally worked. Therefore, we’ve accumulated the separate attendance types to give an overall picture of the time recorded in the year and based the following figures on averages across each depot. The max hours worked by any individual per day was eight and the lowest just under six hours.
