Hello, I kindly request 1. The cost of repairing the damaged safety barrier in the Marnham Fields/Dunelm area. 2. The total amount of fines levied on motorists for speeding since the introduction of the speed reduction in this area 3. If the amount in question 2 is higher than the answer to question 1 then why was this money not spent to repair the safety barrier? Thanks

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2 August 2022, asking for information about the A40 Target Roundabout in the Marnham Fields/Dunelm area.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require. You asked:
  1. The cost of repairing the damaged safety barrier in the Marnham Fields/Dunelm area.
We have an Asset Renewal Scheme on the A40 Western Avenue between Greenford and Target Roundabout and this is currently in a design stage. At present we do not have a cost to replace all the vehicle restraint systems within the project scope. Once the detailed design is finalised, a cost will be drawn up by the contractors. 

2. The total amount of fines levied on motorists for speeding since the introduction of the speed reduction in this area

Penalties for speeding are issued by the police, and TfL does not hold information on the number of tickets that have been issued. 3. If the amount in question 2 is higher than the answer to question 1 then why was this money not spent to repair the safety barrier?
