Is this stree(Upper Montagu Street) given by SatNav as clear way without mentioning this is a private road and the sign is almost invisible in time to change the route??

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Whilst we are not sure exactly what you are requesting we have looked into the signage at this location. The sign at the junction of Upper Montagu Street is “buses/coaches are prohibited except for disabled buses or those with permits or for access”. There are advance weight limit restrictions from both directions prohibiting vehicles over 7.5T. SatNavs would not be set up to recognise vehicle sizes or weight limits unless it is a SatNav that could map according to the size/weight of a vehicle.
These signs were installed by Westminster City Council, and we understand that they are carrying out a review into the signage in this area.
