Please can you list how many LU / TfL staff have been recognised for Royal honours since the scheme started. Also, please can you break down the Gender / Ethnic Origin of each person.

Thank you for your request received on 5 July 2023 asking for information about Royal Recognition Honours for LU / TfL staff.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
29 current and former TfL staff members received an Honours since Royal Recognition was launched in December 2013.
Of these staff members, 17 identified as male and 12 identified as female. Of the same group, 1 identified as Asian or Asian British – Other; 1 identified as Asian or Asian British – Pakistani; 2 identified as Black or Black British – Caribbean; 1 identified as Dual Heritage (Mixed Race) – White & Black Caribbean; 20 identified as White – British; 1 identified as White – Irish; 2 identified as White – Other, and 1 did not specify their ethnicity.
