Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19 August 2021 asking for information about the positions (job titles) that Non-Permanent Labour occupied within TfL and its subsidiary companies (London Underground etc) at the end of Quarter 1 of the 2021/2022 financial year. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Please find attached the information requested on the NPL positions as at the end of Quarter 1 of financial year 2021/22 including which directorate group they belong to. This covers the period 01/04/2021 to 27/06/2021.
It is important that we continue to make use of the flexibility offered by non-permanent labour where it is prudent to do so, particularly in this time of change and temporary peaks in demand. It is also equally important that we do not limit our ability to hire talent in areas where skills are scarce, such as engineering.
