Thank you for your request received on 31 July 2017 asking for information about the live bus arrivals SMS service.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Can you please provide me with updated data on how much the SMS service generated in a.) 2016 and b.) so far in 2017?

The total SMS income for 2016 was £192,061 and for 2017, £83,125. Please note that for 2017 we are only currently able to report up to the end of June.
