Dear Transport for London, I am requesting information on all the buses assigned to each bus route in London. Clarification: I’m requesting the type of bus assigned to each bus route - for example how many New Routemasters assigned to the number 5 bus. Thanks

Thank you for your clarified request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 August 2022 asking for information about the type of bus assigned to each bus route.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
 
Please find attached a list of vehicle types assigned to each route split by Single Deck / Double Deck and New Routemaster. 
 
The number of vehicles required for operation of each route can be obtained from the on-line schedules which are published on line at https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/bus-schedules. There will typically be an additional 10% of vehicles used to support each route to allow for routine maintenance etc.
 
In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
