I would like to know the Taxi age profile of the current licensed fleet, by year and vehicle type. I understand this information has previously been published on the taxi and private hire licensing information web page however this was last updated in July 2020 therefore I am requesting an up to date version of this information.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19 August 2021 asking for information about licensed taxi fleet.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require, however, in accordance with the FOI Act, TfL is not obliged to supply you with this information as it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to information, under Section 22 of the Act. In this instance the exemption has been applied as the information you have requested is intended for future publication.
The updated Taxi age profile of the current licensed fleet, by year and vehicle type, will be published on our website. We anticipate this information will be available by October 2021.
This exemption is subject to a public interest test, which requires us to assess whether the public interest in applying the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosure.
