YUNEX ULEZ Cameras Manufacturing and Component Sourcing

Request ID: FOI-1012-2324
Date published: 11 August 2023

You asked

Please can you advise as to where ULEZ cameras are manufactured and where their component parts are sourced from. We ask this is light of the recent TFL system hack, and BBC programme about China made cameras that are easily hacked. There is great concern that the use of 'chinese components' may present severe security risks to british citizens. Within the Contracts are there strict terms and conditions in terms of data security. ?
