You asked

I have narrowed down the request for you away from documents to asking the question as to whether there is any information held about the impact that 1minute delay per mile caused by Cycle Enfield proposals on the A1010 will have on bus journeys.

We answered

Our Ref:         FOI-0991-1718

Thank you for your request received on 26 July 2017 refining your request for information about the Cycle Enfield proposals.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked for:

Any information held about the impact that 1minute delay per mile caused by Cycle Enfield proposals on the A1010 will have on bus journeys.

Please find attached the section of the Traffic Signal Supplementary Report (TSSR) document which outlines the impact of the A1010 South scheme on London Buses following traffic modelling.

All Mini Holland cycling and walking schemes that have a material impact to our network or bus services undergo traffic modelling so that we fully understand the impacts. The A1010 South scheme has been assessed through appropriate traffic modelling and meets the TfL requirements as outlined in the Traffic Modelling Guidelines, but the A1010 North scheme is still in development and as such this exercise is not complete yet for this section.

The outputs of the traffic modelling work for the A1010 South were reviewed and approved by TfL, including London Buses, before the borough commenced works on site. In recognition that bus journey times are impacted by the proposals for the A1010 South scheme, a mitigation strategy is in development. We are confident that this work will yield benefits to the bus services affected. We will continue to work with the borough to ensure that the A1010 North scheme considers the needs of bus passengers as well as cyclists and pedestrians.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please feel free to contact me.

Yours sincerely
