Concerning the works carried out by TFL on 6 July 2021 and 10 - 11 August 2021

  1. Details of reason for carrying out the works at antisocial hours (5.45 am, 11.50pm - 3am)
In order to maintain the safety of the teams working close to the platform edge we are required to carry out the work out of operational hours under line block conditions.

  1. Risk assessments relating to noise and vibration
Risk assessments were carried out by the contractor and reviewed by both the project team and Health and Safety prior to work being carried out. Relates to and in accordance with Network Rail standard NR/L2/OHS/019 Safety of People Working on or Near the Line. Copies of the risk assessments are attached.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.

  1. Name of contactor company engaged  to carry out the work
Braybrook Limited

  1. Details of all complaints received about these works (redacted as necessary to remove personal data and their resolution).
No other complaints have been received relating to this work.

Works are to install barriers, gates and spiked floor tiles along with signage as a part of a project to introduce anti-trespass and suicide prevention mitigations across the ARL network.
