Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 29 June 2023 asking for information about the total kilometres squared of cycle paths and lanes in the area covered by TfL.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. Unfortunately we do not hold the specific ‘total kilometres squared of cycle paths and lanes’ information you have requested.
We can, however, advise you that there are currently over 340km of high-quality cycle routes in London under a unified Cycleways brand. Our online map showing all Cycleways currently on the network is available online at https://tfl.gov.uk/maps/cycle?intcmp=40402&intcmp=58492&intcmp=60683.
