Thank you for your further email of 4th July 2019 asking for information under the Freedom of Information Act.
You asked the following, subsequent to your earlier request of 7th June 2019 (reference FOI-0714-1920):
“Could I just get the salaries and bonuses for all band 3s and above over past 3 years and the total revenue made from PCNs, Roadworks and FPNs over past 3 years?”.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. However, as explained in our previous responses of 3rd and 4th July 2019, it is not possible to provide you with this information within the costs threshold for responding to FOI requests of £450 (equivalent to 18 hours work), as specified in section 12 of the FOI Act. Your original request asked for the same information in respect of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) that you are asking for again now. In response to that request my colleague, Jasmine Howard, explained in her email of 3rd July that:
“…during the calendar years of 2016-2019, we have issued a total of 448 Fixed Penalty Notices in in respect of Wilful Obstructions of the Highway Offences. To provide a full breakdown of the amount paid would require the retrieval and review of each individual case, which in itself would exceed 18 hours for the purposes of your request.”
To help bring the cost of responding to your request within the £450 limit, you may wish to consider narrowing or reframing its scope so that we can more easily locate, retrieve and extract the information you are seeking, taking account of the advice already provided in response to your previous emails.
However, that said, note that some of the information your are seeking is readily available and can be provided as follows:-
