Cyclist prosecutions

You asked

How many cyclists (motorised or otherwise) have been prosecuted in last 12 months: For not stopping at red lights? For not stopping at pedestrian crossings when pedestrians have been crossing? For cycling on pavements where they are not allowed to cycle? Ditto for electric scooters legally rented or privately owned.

Thank you for your email which we received on 29 June 2023 asking for information about cycling prosecutions.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. 

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. Cycling / scooting offenses are enforced and recorded by the Metropolitan and City of London Police. They can issue Traffic Offence Report penalty fines to people for cycling offences.
