Thank you for your email of 22 July 2017 asking for a copy of Issues 100, 101 and 102 of the Ticketing & Revenue Update.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Please find attached the information you requested.
In accordance with the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply some of the information as it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to information under section 31(1) (a) –Law Enforcement.
In this instance the exemption has been applied as disclosure of the information you have requested would or would be likely to prejudice the prevention or detection of crime. Some information contained within the TRU’s pertains to security and cash handling matters. Disclosure of this information would hinder station staffs ability to carry out there duties in a safe and secure manner.
The use of this exemption is subject to an assessment of the public interest in relation to the disclosure of the information concerned. We recognise the need for openness and transparency by public authorities, but in this instance the safety of our staff and customers outweighs the need for disclosure.
Additionally some of the information has been removed as it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to information under section 40(2) – personal data. In this instance the exemption has been applied as disclosure of the information would be a breach of the Data Protection Act (DPA), specifically the first principle of the DPA which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful.
