we must ask for your full disclosure on the method on which DVS agency attempted to advise UK registered operators of this new scheme. What exactly was the marketing spend and the plan followed? I request this information under the freedom of information Act 2000 as we are entitled to do. Please supply the name of the person responsible for putting this plan in place because we will have to defend your claims in court.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 9 August 2021 asking for information about DVS marketing.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The DVS campaign has been live across several periods of time utilising the following media channels; Trade Press, Digital Display and Out of home posters.
The first burst of activity was November – December 2019, followed by October – November 2020 and then finally January – March 2021.
Total media spend was £147,205.
There was no one person responsible for putting this plan in place, this was implemented by our Marketing department.
