I am writing on Wednesday 3 July to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible. The request is specific to TfL and regards Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras used by TfL that have potentially been supplied by the technology company Huawei. My questions are as follows: 1. Does TfL use, or did it previously use, ANPR cameras made by Huawei? 2. Is TfL removing these cameras, or is it considering removing these cameras, because of security concerns? 3. How many of these ANPR cameras are you removing or considering removing? 4. If you are removing ANPR cameras made by Huawei, what are you replacing them? 5. If you are removing or considering the removal of ANPR cameras made by Huawei, what are the specific security concerns that have prompted the removal of these cameras, or thew consideration of this removal?
