TfL Ref: 0965-2223 Thank you for your request received by us on 21 July 2022 asking for information about London Underground’s Central line service.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked: From 00:00 on 15/07/22 to 23:59 on 21/07/22, how many trains in total operated Eastbound on the Central Line from Liverpool Street a) To Hainault or Newbury Park b) To Epping We can advise that in total,1869 Central line trains were recorded on the network’s signalling system of having operated eastbound through Liverpool Street station during this timeframe. Of these services, 904 had a passenger destination at the time of Hainault and/or Newbury Park, 597 to Epping and 368 to other eastbound destinations such as Loughton and Leytonstone. Please bear in mind that whilst as previously mentioned, this information has been extracted from the signalling system’s database, the odd incident of over or under reporting can occur if there is a problem with the data feed. Furthermore, although the destination of the service is taken at the time the train passed through Liverpool Street, it is possible that in some instances the final destination may have been changed at a later stage during the journey.
