Hey TfL FOI,
Many thanks for getting back to me providing me with helpful answers for my enquiry about the discrepancies of Elephant & Castle, and East Croydon stations across the TfL Go and Tube & Rail Services maps over 2 months ago. (TfL Ref: 4811-2324)
Based on your responses, would you mind kindly just updating me if the design team has informed you whether it is possible to align these across all products yet?
Secondly for the enquiry about the missing Bicycle Parking symbol for Hounslow Central station (despite at least 4 sets of them existing near the entrance as shown), the recent updated June 2024 online tube map hasn't yet changed the station's status by adding a Bicycle Symbol on the tube map Index (especially in contrast to the other 2 Hounslow stations):
However in your response, I was informed that the design team have raised this with the relevant team to understand the criteria as to what constitutes its inclusion on the map, so would you mind also just letting me know if they have updated you with an answer yet explaining the criteria (especially before the next Pocket Map due for this Autumn as you mention)?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 June 2024 asking for information about our Tube map.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. For the first issue raised, we can confirm that this is on the list of things to look at in future releases - new features take precedence within TfL Go. Unfortunately we do not have a timescale of when this will be looked into further.
Regarding the second issue you’ve raised, next time we update the Tube map we will add the bicycle symbol to Hounslow Central.
