1. TfLs total costs in defending the Judicial Review brought by the LPHCA regarding the increase in Operator Fees?
2. Could you also advise how much of this will recovered from the LPHCA and how soon you expect to receive payment?

Thank you for your email received by us on 4 July 2018 asking for information about the Judicial Review brought by the Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA).
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:
1. TfL’s total costs in defending the Judicial Review brought by the LPHCA regarding the increase in Operator Fees?
Transport for London’s legal costs were £84,279.
2. Could you also advise how much of this will recovered from the LPHCA and how soon you expect to receive payment?
We are recovering all of our legal costs. We expect these costs to be recovered by monthly instalments no later than 4 November 2018.
