TfL Ref: FOI-0947-2324
Thank you for your request which we received on 27 June 2023, asking for information about customer service advisers (CSAs) working reduced hours.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
How many CSAs do you have working reduced hours in the Northern line, Victoria line and Jubilee line?
And out of those, how many are working less than 16 hours a week?
Please find the requested information in the table below. It includes grades CSA1 and CSA2. Trainee CSAs are not included as they are not assigned directly to the lines while training.
<35hpwk <16hpwk |
Overall: 356 250 |
Jubilee Line: 139 103 |
Northern Line: 115 74 |
Victoria Line: 102 72 |
Please note all values are based on contractual hours, not actual hours.
Less than 16 hours per week does not include any CSAs that may be working 16 hours per week contractually.
Reduced hours will not include those who are contracted to work 35 hours per week, but for reasons, such as returning from illness, are not working 35 hours per week. As explained in our earlier responses, this arrangement is not recorded on our central reporting system, and is held at the local level between individual managers and the staff they manage.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
