Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26 June 2023 asking for information about Turnham Green Tube station.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked: Please could you disclose any impact assessment or written plans regarding allowing Piccadilly line services to stop at Turnham Green Station during the day.
The stopping of all trains at Turnham Green has always been dependent on the signalling upgrade and Automated Train Operation (ATO). The legacy signalling system and manually driven trains would not be able to meet the current Trains Per Hour (TPH) if we introduced all day stopping and this would impact the level of service operated across the entire line.
