Clarification follow up from FOI-0479-1819 Thank you for your email. I would like details of the trees directly opposite and next to the property, but also other trees in the road. Given the property address am I correct in assuming there are many many trees along Sidcup Road. Perhaps as a starting point you could provide the details for all the trees within the property postcode area. I look forward to hearing from you. When responding, please provide me with my reference which would have been quoted on the initial letter.

We answered

Dear

TfL Ref: FOI-0921-1819

Your Ref: EP/LLO00607?02202

Thank you for your clarification email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 July 2018, asking for information about trees around 660 Sidcup Road SE9 3AL.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.

Questions 1, 2, 3

Unfortunately, it is not possible to obtain data as far back as 2010 as it would mean having to extract the data from different databases, some of which we are no longer able to run reports on. We have searched our database for “Sidcup Road” and “SE9 3AL” and found six relevant cases received between 1 April 2014 – 31 December 2016. Please find the case notes for all these contacts attached. We can only provide location and complaint details that were recorded at the time of receipt.

Questions 4, 5

Please find the information attached.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.

This exemption to the right of access to information is an absolute exemption and not subject to an assessment of whether the public interest favours use of the exemption.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
