Thank you for your request which we received on 18 June 2024, asking for information about enforcement of taxi and private vehicles at Gatwick airport region.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:

Hoping you can help by providing dates of the last five Transport for London (TfL) enforcement operations checking TfL licensed vehicles and drivers working in the Gatwick Airport / Crawley Council authority region?

If there have been less than five operations I will accept whatever number you have on record. If there have been zero operations I would like to be notified that is the case.

The last five dates of our compliance operations in and around the area surrounding Gatwick airport are listed below:

  • 22 May 2023 
  • 22 September 2023 
  • 23 November 2023 
  • 12 December 2023 
  • 23 May 2024
