TfL is an organisation that positively celebrates and recognises the unique diversity of London. We have a major role in ensuring London feels open to everyone - bringing both cultural and business benefits to our staff and customers. London is one of the most diverse cities in the world and public transport is key to enabling people to make the most out of life’s opportunities. For us at TfL, inclusive transport addresses the barriers to anyone being able to travel spontaneously with freedom, safety and independence to their destination of choice, so that everyone can experience the benefits that a city like London has to offer. We are extremely proud to be marking Pride each year on our transport network and we work with our staff members, suppliers and collaborators to help us deliver this. This year we worked with our partners Arriva Rail London, MTR Elizabeth line, Hayley Rail, Abellio and Global as well as shining LGBTQ+ personalities to support Pride in London and the LGBTQ+ community. The activities around Pride are responsibly funded from allocated budget and with the funding from our partners. Staff hours involved around Pride activity are business as usual hours or volunteer hours. The total cost for the Pride campaign is approximately £13,000 excluding individual vehicle wraps which are fully funded by our partners.

•           Were Bimini, Gok Wan, Nick Grimshaw and Queen MoJo, Dee Allum, Asifa Lahore given any remuneration?

We have partnered with prominent LGBTQ+ personalities to tell their stories on posters and amplify their voices within the community as part of our Pride campaign. Whilst Bimini, Gok Wan, Nick Grimshaw, Queen MoJo and Dee Allum were not paid a fee to be part of this campaign, Asifa Lahore has been reimbursed for fair use of her time and involvement as a drag artist with visual impairment.

Was Nick Grimshaw given remuneration for the 'Soft Lad' e-book on TfL's Book Club website?

No remuneration was given to Nick Grimshaw for this, as this was done through an existing TfL Book Club partnership between TfL and Hodder & Stoughton books.
