Request ID: FOI-0905-2425 Date published: 19 July 2024
You asked
With reference to FOI-0759-2425, please can you similarly provide data on all journeys from all Overground, DLR and Elizabeth line stations?
Clarification received 21/06/2024: I'd like totals for each calendar year you have figures for.
And in actual fact, I'd like figures for all journeys made exclusively within one mode ie just on the overground, but also for those that simply originate at a all stations within those 3 modes.
So I'd like all journeys made to and from, for example, Homerton made using just the Overground, but also all journeys regardless of mode that started and ended at, for example, Homerton.
Hopefully this is clearer and thank you for considering my request.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18th June 2024, detailed below.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“With reference to FOI-0759-2425, please can you similarly provide data on all journeys from all Overground, DLR and Elizabeth line stations?”
On 21st June 2024 you clarified that you would like the data for each calendar year we have figures for.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is provided in the attached spreadsheets. Data is held from 2018 onwards. This provides the total counts for origin destination pairs for all rail journeys we have data for in the period 2018-2023 by year. Note that these counts are derived from completed journeys where the customer tapped in and out using either an Oyster card or a contactless payment card. Journeys completed using a paper ticket, and incomplete journeys (i.e. where the passenger did not tap in or out for whatever reason) are not captured in the data.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely,
