I would like to see the budgeted / actual costs of implementing the new bus lane on Woodford Avenue. Estimates are fine, but please provide me with the cost information used to make the final decision.

Thank you for your request which we received on 19 June 2024. You asked about costs of implementing the new bus lane on Woodford Avenue.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. 

 

The cost of the Woodford Avenue bus lane project to date is £551,587.  The estimated cost of the project in February 2024, when the decision was made to procced to build, was £500,119. The increase in costs from February is due to post scheme data collection, including the installation of new traffic count equipment and additional staff time.
