You asked

The MCHLG has just published its figures for local authorities budgets for 2019-20 https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/local-authority-revenue-expenditure-and-financing-england-2019-to-2020-budget GLA is showing no income for parking whereas in 2018-19 it showed income of £7652,000. Can you explain why there has been this change. Also for 2019-20 you are showing £265 million for congestion charging. I assume this includes ULEZ income as well - can you provide the split please

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27 June 2019 asking for budget information.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.  You asked: The MCHLG has just published its figures for local authorities budgets for 2019-20: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/local-authority-revenue-expenditure-and-financing-england-2019-to-2020-budget.  GLA is showing no income for parking whereas in 2018-19 it showed income of £7652,000.  Can you explain why there has been this change. Firstly, please be advised that the net income allocated to ‘parking’ in the previous submission has been corrected as we do not operate any parking services, this should read £nil for the previous year also.   The income which relates to enforcement of parked vehicles has been reclassified under Traffic Management and Road Safety.

The net congestion charge figure is £256.9m for 2019/20 and is broken down below:

Congestion Charge

Ultra Low Emission Zone

Diesel vehicle scrappage schemes*

Gross Income

212.9
