TfL Ref: FOI-0878-1718
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 July 2017 asking for information about traffic disruption data.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
We work with all utility companies to ensure the impact of any emergency or routine work causes as little impact on the road network as possible, preventing unnecessary disruption, improving air quality and reducing congestion.
Please find attached a spreadsheet ‘LTIS’ showing incidents recorded under the categories “Burst Water Main” and “Waterworks”. It is possible that some incidents may have been recorded under broader categories such as “Flooding” or “Roadworks”, however the information provided should provide the majority of the relevant incidents. The spreadsheet shows the incidents which were recorded on the LTIS system during the period 2009 to April 2013.
Please also find a spreadsheet showing the Burst Water disruptions recorded on TIMS during the period April 2013 – July 2017.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
