We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-0873-2223

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11th July 2022 asking for information about the cycle lanes on Aldersbrook Road and Blake Hall Road in Wanstead.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

The cycle lanes on Aldersbrook Road and Blake Hall Road in Wanstead have been widened and bollards put along the route and as a bus driver using these roads in some places to narrow to get 2 large vehicles to pass.

My questions are, was there any survey done to see how many cyclist use these roads every day and how much has this project cost?”

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information as this is a cycle lane run by the local borough rather than TfL. I would suggest, therefore, that you redirect your questions to Redbridge Council. FOI requests to Redbridge can be made via its website here:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
