Please provide a figure in pounds for the total monies spent by TFL on repairs to Hammersmith bridge since January 1 2000. Please break this figure down into monies spent each year of the period 2000-2020, with a one line explanation for each year of how the monies were spent.

Thank you for your request received on 20 August 2020 asking for information about the amount spent by TfL on repairs to Hammersmith Bridge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:
 
Please provide a figure in pounds for the total monies spent by TFL on repairs to Hammersmith bridge since January 1 2000.
Please break this figure down into monies spent each year of the period 2000-2020, with a one line explanation for each year of how the monies were spent.
 
TfL has committed £16.7m in total to date; a breakdown of this detailing where these costs have gone is provided in the table below:

2020/21 £5.90 Pathway Stage 3 - Concept design for main bridge, detailed design for stabilisation works to make the bridge safe for the main  works, investigation and early works on pedestals, concept design of temporary bridge and ongoing monitoring and inspections.
 
No monies were spent between 2001/02 – 2006/07, in 2009/10, or between 2012/13 – 2013/14.
