Request ID: FOI-0857-2324 Date published: 14 July 2023
You asked
F/on from FOI-0573
In order to bring this FOI request within the cost threshold could you limit the request to three or four of the card companies.
The companies I request correspondence for is Taxiworld, CMT, Curb Cabvision and the correspondence for LTPH/TFL for the full seven years, if this still exceeds the cost threshold then you may reduce the search by one company called CMT.
If this is over the cost threshold could you kindly provide the cost calculation.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 June 2023 asking for correspondence between TfL and Taxiworld, CMT, Curb and Cabvision.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
We have conducted an email search for correspondence between TfL and Taxiworld, CMT, Curb and Cabvision and the keyword ‘signal’, for the seven years for which emails are held. A manual check of the results found that there were only two email exchanges between these companies which were in any way relevant to debit/credit cars signal issues. Please find attached copies of these email exchanges.
Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
