TfL Ref: FOI-0844-2324

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18th June 2023 asking for information about London Underground stations in Westminster.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

Please may I have the data on the throughput of the underground stations located in the borough of Westminster? If possible aggregated by day if not by month from 2018-2023.”

I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is provided in the attached spreadsheet. This provides monthly data for each year since May 2018 to May 2023, for each London Underground station in the borough of Westminster. The figures include all ‘taps’ made at these stations (entries and exits on Oyster, Contactless and Paper/Magnetic Tickets).  Note that some stations were closed for a period during the pandemic.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely,
