As a follow up question to my FOI 0748-2223 in reference to questions 4 and 6 could you please give me a breakdown of the higher ULEZ charge penalties and lower ULEZ charge penalties

Thank you for your request of 6th July 2022 asking for information about ULEZ Penalty Charge Notices, further to your previous request under reference FOI-0748-2223.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“As a follow up question to my FOI 0748-2223 in reference to questions 4 and 6 could you please give me a breakdown of the higher ULEZ charge penalties and lower ULEZ charge penalties”.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. ULEZ higher-rate PCNs were replaced by Lower Emissions Zone (LEZ) charges when the more stringent LEZ standards went live in March 2021. Since then, there has only been one charge/penalty charge value for ULEZ, which is at the lower rate. Hence, all the penalty charges covered under questions 4 and 6 were at the lower rate.
