We answered

Our Ref:         FOI-0836-2021

Thank you for your request received on 17 August 2020 asking for information about the Rotherhithe Ferry Crossing. I apologise for the delay in my response.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Please can you advise how many TfL people have been working on the Rotherhithe Ferry Crossing project on a month by month basis for 2019 and 2020?
What is the cumulative costing for TfL personnel working on this project?

We do not hold this information. Whilst we do have information on TfL staff who are involved in the project, this would not include staff such as apprentices, or those from Legal, Finance, and Procurement who would have also been involved in other projects whilst working on the Rotherhithe Ferry Crossing so their time and salary would not be directly attributable just to this scheme.

What is the cumulative cost to date for 2019 and 2020 for all agencies working on the Rotherhithe Ferry Crossing project that TfL or the GLA are paying for?

Please see the requested information in the table below:

Please note that owing to the impact of coronavirus on our finances, it has been necessary to pause work on this scheme at the current time, as on a number of other schemes across London. The longer-term future of the project will be considered once our longer-term funding position is clearer.

If this is not the information you are looking for please feel free to contact me.

If you are considering submitting a further FOI request please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
