Our ref: FOI-0825-2223/GH
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5 July 2022 asking for vehicle records.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require - as this vehicle has been replaced over 18 months ago, we have disposed of all of the maintenance documents, along with many others, as we have replaced the whole fleet.
The vehicles do not have a service history stamped book as you would expect to get with a car purchase.
All maintenance and servicing from new are performed by an in-house team of fully trained and certified engineers, endorsed by the vehicle manufacturers.
However, to give you an idea of how Dial-A-Ride operates:
Our maintenance schedule starts with our drivers who do a daily pre-use check. Every vehicle has a full safety critical inspection on a 10 week cycle, performed by fully qualified vehicle engineers, including brake efficiency and emissions testing. Service tasks are undertaken at the manufacturers recommended service intervals, within the nearest 10 week cycle safety inspection. All vehicles are independently MOT tested annually. We also employ the services of the Freight Transport Association to provide ad-hoc quality assurance inspections on a monthly basis.
I can also tell you that the last program of timing belt and water pump changes were done in 2016/17, and the gear box oil in 2018. This means that they are all due a change on age rather than mileage on this vehicle.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
