I am making a request to obtain a printed copy of TfL's Big Red Book for London Bus Drivers (5th edition). I am aware of a PDF version but I must stress the request is for a printed copy.

Thank you for your email received by us on 17 August 2020 asking for a hard copy of the Big Red Book for TfL bus drivers.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
Please find the latest version of the Red Book attached as a pdf. We are unfortunately not able to provide hard copies as we have very few copies remaining and we need to set these aside to be issued to bus drivers. Additionally, due to alternative working arrangements aligned with the Government’s measures to tackle the coronavirus, the FOI Case Management Team are unable to process these requests remotely.
We would also refer you to section 11(4) of the Freedom of Information Act where it states “Subject to subsection (1), a public authority may comply with a request by communicating information by any means which are reasonable in the circumstances”. We do not consider it reasonable in this instance to provide a hard copy of this staff handbook when the information is already readily accessible and can be printed off if necessary.
The impact of current circumstances on TfL’s resources means we are not able to answer FOI requests readily and we ask that you please do not make a request to us at present.
Answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. In any event, please note that our response time will be affected by the current situation.
